WEDDINGS
Choosing the right Photographer for your big day is extremely important, in fact it's probably the most important decision you will have to make, after all the photographs are usually the only part of the day you get to keep (apart from your new husband/wife and a dress you will never wear again, of course!).
My aim is to be as flexible and relaxed as possible on the day. I will make sure that you and your guests are allowed to enjoy the day by keeping the formal shots as snappy (no pun intended!) as possible, although I should warn you that many previously camera-shy couples turn into wannabe models by the end of the day and have to be reminded to stop posing and go and spend some time with their guests!
MY STYLE
I am a firm believer in letting the quality of the photography speak for itself. I prefer to use Photoshop to subtly bring out the best in each shot, rather than use the photographs as a vehicle to show off the latest manipulation techniques or disguise poor photography. I want to give you an album of timelessly beautiful photographs you will be proud to show off in 10, 20 or 30 years time.
THE CONSULTATION PROCESS
After you have secured my services for your big day, the process begins with an initial consultation, usually at your home, where I will take all the details of where & when the wedding will take place and get an overall idea of what you would like me to do on the day so that we can discuss which package would suit you best.
At around a month before the big day, we will have a final consultation where we will discuss precisely what shots you would like me to take on the day. These will usually be a mixture of both formal and the more fun set-piece photographs, such as the popular "Reservoir Dogs" style group. The main purpose of this consultation is to make sure I will be able to get shots of all the important people on the day. I wouldn't want you to be looking through your final album and suddenly realise that Grandad isn't on any of the pictures!
PRE-WEDDING PHOTOSHOOT (Optional)
Many prospective brides & grooms feel a little nervous about having their photos taken on their big day. A pre-wedding photoshoot is the perfect way to help you relax in front of the camera and for us to get to know each other a little better. The more confident you feel and the more comfortable you feel, the better your wedding photos will be.

ON THE DAY
As well as the usual formal group shots and posed shots of the bride & groom, I will take as many informal and candid shots as I can to capture the real spirit of the day, like children playing in the churchyard, Uncle Dave nodding off during the speeches or Grandma oblivious to the large blob of cream on the end of her nose. You will find that the whole day will fly past in a blur and it is these less formal photographs which will help you relive the excitement and happiness of the day over and over again.

CHOOSING THE PHOTOS FOR YOUR ALBUM
All the images taken on the day will be uploaded onto my website within 5 days of your wedding and you will be issued with a password to allow you and your guests to look through them. There will also be a selection of finished shots on the PhotoBlog page to give you an idea of how the photos will look in the album.
You can then choose which images you would like in your album.
