EMMA & SHAUN'S WARMSWORTH WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY

Emma & Shaun's wedding at Holiday Inn, Warmsworth, Doncaster
10/10/09
EMMA & SHAUNCeremony: St Mary's Church, Sprotborough.
Reception: Holiday Inn, Warmsworth, Doncaster.
Since they met on holiday, Salford lad, Shaun, has made the ultimate sacrifice (for a Lancastrian) and moved across the Pennines to be with Emma in Doncaster.
They chose to get married at the beautiful church at Sprotborough which, unusually for such an old building, is bright and airy inside so I was looking forward to taking some cracking shots of the ceremony. Unfortunately, the vicar was extremely photographer-phobic and wouldn't allow a single shot to be taken! Ho-hum!
Never mind, there were plenty of opportunities outside and then on the double decker bus which took the guests on to the reception (Shaun & Emma opted for a vintage Rolls Royce).
Shaun had spent ages putting together his poetic speech and, by the look on Emma's face, it was time well spent. Tom, the Best Man, on the other hand......!
The evening's entertainment was supplied by a ceilidh band from Manchester, who had everyone up on the dancefloor and played a number of local folk songs, including "Dirty Old Town", which had everyone singing along.
Many congratulations to Emma & Shaun and a big thank-you for the meal, which was excellent (especially the cheesecake) and thanks, as always to Gav.
