I'd been looking forward to this one for ages, for purely selfish reasons, I admit!
Unbeknown to Kevin, Tanya had organised a surprise lift to the ceremony - in a helicopter! Everyone else was in on the secret, including yours truly and a devious plan was hatched to get Kevin to the field where we were being picked up.
Unfortunately, the satnav sent us up the wrong farm track a couple of times but we eventually managed to find the right one, much to Kevin's delight.
It was my first flight in a chopper and unfortunately the weather took a turn for the worse just as we were getting on board, meaning I wasn't able to get any really nice arial shots of the spectacular venue, Allerton Castle. What an experience, though!
Everywhere you looked there were photo-opportunities just waiting to be exploited, from the beautiful gardens to the magnificent great hall and drawing room, it was difficult not to hog Kevin & Tanya all day for photos!
Luckily they were keen to make the most of the incredible surroundings.
Just when everyone thought they'd seen everything, the guests were all ushered outside for a spectacular fireworks display.
Congratulations and thanks to a wonderful couple (and Gav, as always) for a fantastic day that won't be forgotten in a hurry!
